Janssen (pharmaceutical company of Johnson & Johnson) is currently recruiting for a Financial Analyst within the Finance organization situated in Toronto(19 Greenbelt Dr) supporting the Business Unit Sales and Marketing teams.

Position Overview

As part of the Business Unit Finance team, the Financial Analyst will be part of the of the Immunology Business Finance Team. They will provide support to the Private Payer team as well as timely and meaningful analyses to influence business decisions.  

Key Responsibilities
  • Business partnering support for negotiation and contract review for vendors with the commercial team
  • Building different models and proposals for the vendor negotiations
  • Ensure appropriate accounting of Gross to Net Expense rebates. Responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing relevant balance sheet
  • Lead monthly rebate review meetings to proactively identify areas of potential over/ under accruals and understand variance drivers (actual vs. budget) with finance business partners
  • Active participation in the development of the Business Plan, Budget Updates and Latest Thinking
  • Ensure financial integrity and policy compliance through business partner training and embracing internal controls
  • Ensure that the principles and elements of the J&J Credo, business policies, Healthcare Compliance, Regulatory, GAAP, and Sarbanes Oxley are adhered to in all aspects of the role.

Qualifications

Education
  • University degree, preferably with a major in Accounting, Economics or Finance

Experience And Skills
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience.
  • Able to present complex information clearly and concisely to internal clients of all levels (written/verbal)
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong planning and organizing abilities
  • Resourceful and independent, thrives in a changing, and challenging environment
  • PC skills, especially Excel. SAP experience an asset.
