Job Description:

• Picking, sorting, packing and weighing mushrooms
• Loading/unloading mushrooms and supplies for transport·
• Cleaning and preparing mushroom beds, growing and working areas
• Sanitizing picking tools, working area and other food contact surfaces
• Prepare compost and casing materials
• Keep mushrooms hydrated, as instructed
• Practice regular hand washing and maintain personal hygiene to avoid the growth of foodborne contaminants.
• Cover exposed containers of mushrooms to prevent contamination
• Keep grounds free of litters, debris, trash, standing water, or mushroom waste.
• Follow all the safety standards
• Report to and follow directions of a farm supervisor

Wages: $ 16.50/hr. for 40 hrs. per week.

Work Setting: Nursey (mushroom Farm) in Chilliwack, BC
