Extensibility Developer

A quick snapshot….

As the Cloud Point of Sale Extensibility Developer, you will work closely with functional consultants and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of the solution. You will advise merchants on best practices, gather and document requirements and develop & deliver a solution that adds maximum value for the merchant.

Here’s what you’ll do…

• Partner with internal team members and business stakeholders to confirm understanding of business drivers and strategy
• Develop cutting-edge cloud based integration solutions within defined time & budget constraints
• Leverage industry and organizational standards, patterns and best practices to deliver maximum value
• Assist in the extension design by providing a technical view
• Execute component testing to ensure all requirements detailed in the design are satisfied
• Ensure code documentation standards are being met
• Collaborate with cross-functional peers to establish and maintain organizational best practices, processes and methodologies
• Log, troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve bugs or other coding issues
• Provide mentorship to junior team members locally as well as globally

Here’s what skills you’ll need…

• Knowledge of multiple languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js) and REACT Native
• Strong experience on writing code using Typescript
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. CrateDB, Postgres and MySQL).
• Familiarity with common stacks
• Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
• Good exposure and hands on experience on Microservices design principles and architecture
• Knowledge on cloud technologies will be a plus
• Knowledge of RabbitMQ for messaging Integration and developing event driven applications
• Experience in utilizing Grafana to monitor and troubleshooting application systems
• Knowledge of Consul, Vault, Prometheus, ELK (ElasticSearch, LogStash, Kibana) is an added advantage
• Experience in Software Development Life Cycle
• Willingness to learn newer technologies like Web Services development, RESTful API development, Microservices etc..
• Good knowledge with Cloud native app development and deployment using Docker/Kubernetes
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience working with the Google productivity suite
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical field

Will work with a remote team at times

Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% with no restrictions on the ability to obtain visas for travel outside of your country of residence.
