Sr. Principal Software Technologist, APEX & VxRail

What you’ll achieve

As an Engineering Technologist, you will be responsible for serving every aspect of your assigned ISG product’s business, our partners, and our customers. You will be the highest-level SME on products in our ISG Solutions Portfolio outside of Engineering. You will help win new, unique, different strategic deals. You will work with our Senior Principal Engineers to assist our Engineering, User Experience, Product Management, and Technical Marketing to ensure our field, partners, and customers have everything they need to be successful with our ISG portfolio.

You will:

• Produce evangelism content targeting potential customers around your product (YouTube, blogs, Twitter, etc.)

• Field Evangelism as APEX/VxRail SMEs (Events, Roadshows, EBCs, Etc)

• Assist partners and sales teams with technical enablement and deeply technical customer questions

• Review and improve core documentation

• Work cross-functionally with multiple business units to solve problems systematically for our partners and customers

• Proactively learn how Dell solutions work together and present findings

• Conducting Feedback sessions with Product Management and Engineering

• Fostering and expanding Dell EMC’s relationships with Customer Business and Technical Decision Makers

• Continuously nurture and expand sales, business, technology, and competitive readiness

• Mentorship of future and new PTT team members

• Actively participate in internal Dell EMC technical communities and in the broader industry through events, community gatherings and more.

Essential Requirements

• Experience with sizing, configuring, implementing, upgrading, and operating complex HCI or software defined storage solutions (VxRail preferred)

• Proven success building relationships with customers across multiple verticals

• Excellent written, video, and audio communications skills

• Desire to learn new versions of our focus technologies as they are released, and teach them to others
