ObjectiveRealize the assembly of the train: scope is all mechanical installations tocomplete the train.Role & Responsibilities

• Assembly of components to Car Body Shell on passenger coaches using standard work procedures, hands & power tools. Different workstations ill be assigned on the assembly line.
• Sign off a complex process by quality confirmation
• Assist in inspection, adjusting and evaluation of incoming electrical, electro-mechanical and electronic components and assemblies to ensure conformance with product specifications and tolerances
• Perform all duties required in dismantling, repairing, rebuilding, installing and testing all transit car systems and components
• Crimping, soldering and assembly of electrical connectors.
• Read electrical and mechanical blueprints and comprehend work instructions
• Organizing work instruction documents, tools and parts daily
• Repetition of mechanical assembly work : gluing, fitting, crimping, cabling, drilling, etc.

Requirements

• Mechanical/electrical technician background
• Several years of experience in precise fitting activities appreciated
• Assembling of components with good quality
• Must have ability to read, write and follow procedures, be safety conscious
• Must be able to manage time well, by prioritizing and sequencing tasks
• Must be willing to be trained in more than one discipline of the rolling stock process to increase flexibility
• Must be SMART electronic device competent
• Experience and skills appreciated to become Team leader
