Frontier Supply Chain Solutions Inc. (Frontier) is a medium established provider of US and Canadian Customs Services, Trade Consulting, & Supply Chain Logistics.

The E-Commerce Specialist would be responsible for planning, dispatching our local fleet of Independent Contractors. The candidate will closely work with the Warehouse Manager, to ensure that we provide our customers excellent customer service.

This is a full-time permanent role with shifts from Monday to Friday. Shifts will be 8 hours in duration with an unpaid 30-minute meal break. The regular shift will be from 10 am to 6pm.

Responsibilities would include:

· Use handheld scanners to identify. sort, and organize inbound e-commerce freight.

· Communicate with clients and delivery recipients with issues as needed.

· Process freight damages, return & claims.

· Hand bomb freight as necessary.

· Planning driver daily needs with operations.

· Use warehouse tools such as manual or power forklifts, hand dollies, conveyor roller.

· Schedule & dispatch Independent Contractors for same-day courier deliveries.

· Communicate with drivers regarding the status of their deliveries throughout the day.

· Respond to all clients and driver phone calls and web requests relating to the setup or status of their freight.

· Assist in Driver/Sorter scheduling and payroll.

The following skills and abilities are required:

· 1+ plus years of dispatch, freight handling, and customer service experience is preferred.

· Previous experience directing, working with, or managing fleet or contract drivers is an asset.

· Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

· Confidence in decision making.

· Ability to foster, build, maintain business relationships with vendors, carriers, and other business partners.

· Practical experience with Microsoft Office.

· Exposure to inventory or warehouse software programs.

· Ability to write and speak English fluently.

· Exceptional customer service skills, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.

· Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 lbs without assistance.

· Ability to work independently as well as a team member.

· Forklift certification is an asset.

· Surpass criminal record check. Be bondable if required.
