Landtran Logistics is an experienced provider of dedicated delivery, warehousing, cross-docking and distribution services across Western Canada.

At this time Landtran Logistics is seeking an experienced Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will work along side operations and our drivers to effectively dispatch drivers and equipment in a way that meets on customers expectations.

Position Details:

- Ensure work is accurately entered into dispatching system

- Actively dispatch drivers and equipment

- Actively planning and scheduling drivers and equipment to meet clients project requirements

- Communicating with drivers on schedule and work availability

- Manage and direct all incoming dispatch inquires

- Coordinate with Operations and Mechanical team to ensure equipment is ready for use

- Provide clients with update paperwork

- Maintain and update various documents as required to support operations

- Offer a high level of customer service to Drivers and Clients

- Maintain and update driver trips in the trip tracking software

- Report all driver setbacks to management as required

- Ensure proper directions are given to drivers on dispatched loads

- Assisting with new driver Onboarding

- Generating and maintains driver files and personnel files as required

- Generating driver and load reports

- Various other duties

Qualifications and Experience:

- Minimum of 1 year experience in dispatching

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- High level of customer service skills

- Hours of Service and Oil Field Exemption experience

- Moderate computer skills with use of various softwares and databases

- Available to be on call

- Proficient in Microsoft, and Google Softwares

- Previous experience with driver tracking software such as Truckmate

Salary: Up to $60,000.00 per year
