We have an immediate need for a Dispatcher that is calm under pressure, adaptable to change and eager to contribute to the success of our company.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Coordinating the fleet and Dispatching drivers to meet transportation requirements

- Resolves transportation scheduling problems for the purpose of ensuring all routes are covered in a safe and efficient manner.

- Coordinating with the Shop Supervisor and Clients

- Follows up and effectively solves problems or issues with clients, service and drivers while adhering to company policies

- Develops a working knowledge of products hauled, regulations, and authorities pertinent to operations

- Promotes the company to clients

- Strong leadership skills and leads by example, exemplifying professionalism

- Excels in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

- Confident using Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer

Qualifications:

- The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a dispatcher and driver preferably in a tank truck environment with sour experience

- Must know how to read an LSD (legal land description)

- Valid class 1 driver’s license and able to be insured on company policy

- Valid H2S Alive and First Aid Certificate

- Extensive industry knowledge

- Willingness to conform to new programs and procedures

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: $51,736.00-$93,680.00 per year
