The Royal Victoria Yacht Club is seeking for a motivated part time / full time Dishwasher to start immediately.

Job Requirements:

*Must be able to lift heavy items (no more than 40lbs)

*Will be washing dishes, cutlery & pans etc
*Must have a flexible schedule
*Ability to multitask and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment

*Will also be doing some food prep work

Responsibilities:

- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
- Sweep and mop floors in the kitchen and dining areas
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, equipment, and appliances
- Assist with food preparation and cooking as needed
- Follow all sanitation procedures and safety regulations

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a dishwasher in a catering, banquet, culinary, or restaurant
setting is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
- Knowledge of proper food handling procedures is a plus
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Note: This position may also be referred to as a Kitchen Steward or Utility Worker.

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
