There is now an IMMEDIATE opportunity for a Director of Sales to join the dual branded HOME2 SUITES by HILTON and the HILTON GARDEN INN.

The hotels offers a total of 220 modern guest suites featuring an indoor salt water swimming pool, state of the art fitness facility, a Conference Center, and a full service restaurant and bar catering to the needs of modern day business and leisure travelers.

The Director of Sales for this Hotel would l be a dynamic, aggressive, outgoing sales professional that recognizes the importance of direct selling, relationships, outside "cold calling", internet marketing strategies, community involvement and integration with operations. Prior Hilton brand experience is beneficial.

The Director of Sales will play a vital and interactive role in the marketing of this hotel. The successful candidate will provide direction and support to team members in Sales to achieve market segments, revenue and occupancy targets.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Activate new accounts in the local market and increase market share from existing accounts
  • Develop new business and accounts and contacting new customers in the market.
  • Work closely with Revenue Management to ensure proposed rate negotiations meet the financial needs of the hotels
  • Promote the facilities of the hotel for banquet hall bookings, F&B and corporate meetings.
  • Develop and nurture a sales pipeline to build short to long term business

-Understand the overall market dynamics - competitors’ economic trends, supply and demand, and how to sell for assigned accounts

  • Travel to designated territories to maintain existing accounts and to generate new business
  • Participate in the conception and execution of marketing initiatives, including Internet marketing, email marketing, promotions, events, packaging and partnerships
  • Conduct sales calls, and provide assistance to team members in developing new accounts and closing the sale
  • Prepare monthly and weekly sales activity reports and action plans
  • Act as Manager on Duty and Lobby as required
  • Prepare and administer the hotel’s marketing plan and budget to achieve revenue and profitability goals
  • Actively participate in Revenue Management meetings to maximize revenue and occupancy as defined by Yield Management strategies
  • Develop and implement Advertising and Sales Promotions
  • Ensure hotel representation at Trade Shows and Sales blitzes as required.
