**EXECUTIVE SEARCH**

Position: Director of Marketing

Industry: Fashion and Apparel

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Location: Montreal

Our client, one of North America’s leading luxury apparel companies is looking for a Director of Marketing to join their team. Successful candidate will be responsible for brand, external communication, online marketing strategies and tactical marketing activities.

Reporting to the CEO and President/COO, tasks will encompass but not limited to

• Provide ongoing research on the marketplace and competitor’s activities
• Work with the marketing team as well as merchandising, E-Comm and sales teams to develop plans to implement brand and go-to marketing strategies
• Work with E-comm and wholesale to produce appropriate calendars for marketing activities including content development, promotional plans, store collaterals production and delivery and advertising
• Establish, manage and report marketing budget
• With a focus on down to earth cost effective but meaningful content creation, will oversee all content creation across digital (primarily) and non-digital channels and media
• Develop internal photography capability as well as processes to manage high frequency sample management digital re-production activities
• Work with internal resources, influencers and other resources to achieve goals
• Work with Sales Merchandising and customers directly to plan, design and execute updates to in-store collaterals and key selling platforms
• Use 3rd party media buying resources to place content against ROI objectives
• Oversee all PR activities for the company and their brands including press releases, celebrity dressing in both B2B and consumer media
• Other tasks as required

Ideal Candidate Must Have

• 7-10 years previous experience in a senior Marketing role with strong digital background within a fashion luxury brand organization
• Business or Marketing degree
• Superior multitasking, problem-solving and project management skills
• MUST have a creative skill-set
• Strong analytical (problem-solving) skills; strategic thinker and marketer with a strength in consumer marketing who wants substantial ownership of the success of the business
• Exceptional knowledge of marketing strategies, concepts and practices
• Excellent communicator; bilingualism strongly preferred
