Title: Digital Marketing Specialist ECP

Department: Sales

Location: Truro, NS or Springfield, Ohio

Immediate Supervisor: Vice President of Sales ECP

Status: Exempt

Position Purpose: The Digital Marketing Specialist willdevelop and lead the marketing of IPG’s woven products division which produces products in locations in Canada, the US and Asia. This newly created position will be a key part of our strategic plan and will help our sales team realize our growth objectives in existing and new markets.

Principle Accountabilities

• Promote and establish brand consistency on all marketing content.
• Manage, facilitate, and oversee all Social Media Platforms.
• Develop creative and engaging social media strategies and content (ie: exploring LinkedIn groups, YouTube channels, webinars, and other content)
• Develop & implement a marketing plan with vision, and targets to increase brand awareness and boost customer engagement.
• Develop all marketing materials with collaboration from Product Managers, Sales, and corporate resources.
• Develop and build a branded Woven Products specific website that supports our industrial customer base and product launches, case studies, product data sheets and bring together websites from acquired companies.
• Daily on-going website maintenance, including updating and adding content as required.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Undergraduate degree in a related field a strong asset.
• Related work experience in an industrial, agriculture or construction field would be a strong asset.
• High level of expertise with social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) and the ability to generate a large presence and following of enthusiastic and engaged consumers.
• Experience as a content creator on multiple platforms.
• Experience in web design and maintenance.
• A keen interest to quickly learn our industry and exploit opportunities to share our products and capabilities with a new audience.
• Ability to think outside the box, generate creative ideas skilled at problem solving and are adaptable.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and writing skills including spelling, grammar, punctuation, composition, as well as excellent editing and proofing skills.
• Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy sharing your passion & creativity, positive outlook and enjoys a challenge.
• Fluency in multiple languages a strong asset.
