Role Description

The Digital Content Creator helps shape the voice of one of Canada’s largest and most reputable brands online. Generating multimedia-based content to enhance engagement across our various campaigns, this role plays a critical part in building our brand in the digital space through content creation on KPMG Canada’s official social media channels including (but not limited to) LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. The content creator is also the point person to compile and assess the analytics from our social channels and kpmg.ca that will shape future campaigns and help improve the performance of our website in areas such as financial services, advisory, technology, media & telecoms.

Based on a strong understanding of KPMG in Canada’s brand values and clients, the Digital Content Creator will proactively develop a content library of communications materials that can be leveraged by partners to tell our story to external audiences. Materials will include short and long form videos, infographics, social media posts and podcasts, one-pagers, and more.

What You Will Do

Social Media Content & Video Creation
  • Represent KPMG on external social media communities including (but not limited to) LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram
  • Generate meaningful and engaging content that is well-positioned in the market to strengthen the KPMG in Canada brand in the marketplace
  • Proficiency in the creation, editing, publishing and reporting of video-based content on social
  • Effectively combine text, audio, animation, photography, and video to create informational and impactful content
  • Provide counsel to internal clients on how to create effective social media campaigns
  • Edit and publish multiple social media calendars on Sprout Social
  • Maintain presence in online communities, monitoring and responding to feedback
  • Escalate issues to the appropriate internal stakeholders and help generate daily reports
  • Create, develop, and implement community-oriented content programs to encourage repeat visit and user generated content.
  • Use leading social media monitoring tools like Sprout Social to track engagement with our social channels and, most importantly, obtain insights that will shape future marketing campaigns.
Support Strategic Projects
  • Build campaign templates and generate regular reports to measure the success of campaigns across digital channels (e.g. social, web, paid advertising)
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams on the creation of video content and strategy, taking ideas and owning the end-to-end production process for all video projects
  • Create content to assist in campaign-related launches including LinkedIn and Facebook Live streaming, social video teaser content, and short-form tutorials
  • Own production schedule and any social deliverables surrounding video uploads and posts
  • Capitalize on new opportunities such as trending topics and new content formats on social
  • Refine a framework for measuring success and innovation while improving the content based on data
  • Responsible for user account management of enterprise social analytics tools
  • Help to increase the reach of our content by adapting content in video and visual formats including converting research insights into short-form video formats, and editing webinar content into videos on social
What You Bring To The Role
  • One to two years of experience in managing social media communities for B2B or B2C companies
  • A strong digital video reel or portfolio
  • 2+ years experience filming, editing, and creating video-based content
  • Superior writing and editing skills
  • Outstanding ability to plan, prioritize and execute projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to see a project through from conception to completion
  • Video editing skills on tools such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, etc
  • Experience scriptwriting, 2D/3D modeling, animation, screen capture/video recording, audio recording, production, and editing is an asset
  • Experience with paid search tools like Google AdWords would be preferred
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing or Digital Marketing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Proficiency in French is an asset
This is a remote/hybrid position.
