Job Description

The Business Intelligence (BI) team is looking for a seasoned Delivery Manager, Business Intelligencewho is enthusiastic to lead projects with several stakeholders. Within the Finance, Analytics and Risk (FAR) department, the BI team is responsible for managing and delivering visual and dynamic advanced analytical solutions to support Investment Departments and Management teams.

As BI Delivery Manager you will be responsible for managing the Business Intelligence lifecycle and ensure that projects are managed efficiently and delivered on time. Reporting to the Managing Director of Business Intelligence, the manager will prepare a communication plan for key stakeholders, define the communication channels for all BI initiatives, develop and track short- and long-term plans for the BI project pipeline. The manager will ensure teams and individuals are accountable for their deliverables, while escalating risks and mitigation plans when appropriate.

The manager will possess strong business intelligence skills, including visualization and advanced analytics concepts, to properly communicate across technical and non-technical audiences. Strong communication and reporting skills are required to successfully monitor project progress.

Role-Specific Accountabilities

• Creating strategic plans and proactively managing timelines, that balance immediate business needs with longer-term enterprise strategic objectives
• Ensuring the organization adheres to BI governance practices and that documentation is maintained throughout the length of the project
• Provide consultation and advice to ensure users across the Fund receive management information that is fit-for-purpose while abiding by enterprise data governance requirements
• Providing an integrated view of the BI project management lifecycle and influencing stakeholders
• Partner with Enterprise Reporting & Controls and Technology & Data teams to coordinate self-serve capabilities and multi-dimensional reporting to adapt to the evolving analytics needs of investment departments and other consumers
• Promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values innovation, learning and a commitment to quality

Qualifications

• Typically, 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in the consulting industry within an analytics and project management role is preferable
• Demonstrated experience in navigating complex system architectures to systematize the capture of internal and external data
• Experience working with agile project management methods to optimize working group activities
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and influence business partners to achieve strategic goals
• Knowledge of business intelligence tools and processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Project, Lists and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
