Quill Customer Service Representative – Work from Home

Start Date: Tuesday October 12th, 2021

Training: 3 weeks long, 10:30-7pm AST, Monday to Friday - must have open availability during this time frame

Shift after training: 10:30-7pm AST, Monday to Friday

No weekends!!

Must be able to attend onsite Training October 12th through October 29th, Located at: 70 First Lake Drive, Lower Sackville B4C 3E4

Our Customer Service team is among the most important people within our organization. As the first and often only point of contact, our customer service professionals truly are the face of Quill, interacting with customers daily via phone, email, chat and social media, the Customer Service team is vital to the success of Staples.

Our representatives are expert problem solvers and excellent communicators who can empathize with a customer’s situation and quickly determine their needs and provide resolution. Through navigating multiple systems and resources, representatives provide solutions that focus on exceeding expectations of customers.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Consult with internal and external customers in resolving issues that affect our customers
  • Resolve customer issues quickly and accurately before and after they contact us
  • Provide exceptional service, while helping customers meet all their business needs
  • Apply active listening skills to quickly filter through complex situations

  • Customer Focus: a true passion for partnering with internal and external customers
  • Adaptability: ability to adjust my approach in engaging the customer based on varying personalities and situations
  • Effective Communication: communicate clearly and effectively by asking relevant questions and conveying easily understood, accurate answers, always displaying professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem Solving: ability to quickly identify root cause and make decisions
  • Resilience: pursues a workable solution in ambiguous or challenging situations
Qualifications

Qualifications:

What’s Needed- Basic Qualifications
  • 1-2 years previous Customer Service experience required
  • Ability to work from home, distraction free (requires high speed internet, telephone line (not cell phone), designated office space
  • Ability to set up work from home station and perform basic equipment troubleshooting
  • Ability to work an 8-hour shifts Monday-Friday
  • Availability to attend training in person
  • Three weeks of classroom learning followed by on-the-job support

  • Previous work from home experience an asset
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Ability to maintain a positive attendance record
  • Ability and willingness to flex to take on new challenges and meet or exceed goals
  • Experience using multiple systems such as:
  • Windows environment, Order management systems (OMS), Knowledge management database, Email, Website navigation
