Opportunity and impact*

You will be joining a small and growing team of customer onboarding experts located in Centretown, nestled between some of Ottawa’s best restaurants and pubs. We are a company driven by our culture of customer obsession and continuous improvement.

About the role*

As a customer onboarding expert with RVezy, you will be responsible for helping prospective and current owners on our platform. Each day you will get to interact with RV owners interested in listing their RV with us over the phone, chat, and email as well as supporting the current owners with any needs they might have.

The successful candidate will: *

  • Provide support for current and prospective RV owners using phone, chat, or email communication.
  • Help onboard new RV owners and get them started using RVezy.
  • Develop new strategies to find RV owners throughout Canada and the U.S.
  • Educate and inspire owners to use our platform and join our community.
  • Create collateral and content to advertise the benefits of renting an RV out with RVezy.
  • Attend RV shows, concerts, festivals, and other events across North America to connect with prospective owners and renters.
  • Actively look for ways to improve our processes and create a better experience on our platform for owners.
  • Gain experience using programs such as Zendesk, Hubspot, Slack, Stripe, etc.
  • Be a part of weekly update meetings with the whole company.
  • See how all departments work together to achieve company goals.
  • Interact with all members of the team, from your fellow customer onboarding experts to the co-founders.
  • Show extreme ownership by screening the RVs listed on our platform by helping to catch any fraudulent listings.
  • Communicate with RV owner regarding insurance, policies, and procedures.
  • Call, text, and email leads and prospective RV owners with a goal of a 40% conversion.
  • Lend a hand to the customer support team when needed by answering general questions and requests via live channels.

What you’ll bring to the team: *

  • Previous customer service or sales experience.
  • Proficiency with technology.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ease communicating with customers virtually and in person.
  • Reliability and adaptability.
  • Good time management skills.
  • The ability to work well collaboratively and independently.
  • An interest and ability to travel. You’ll need a valid passport and be double vaccinated to travel with us.

Bonus points if you:

  • Are bilingual in English and French.
  • Speak Spanish.
  • Already know the difference between a fifth wheel and a Class C.
  • Have an interest in working with startup companies.
