Customer Insights Manager – 12 Month Contract
Customer Insights are crucial to gaining a competitive advantage. The ideal Customer Insights Manager must be detail oriented, have a curious nature and a passion for data, but most of all they must possess four key qualities.
Technically skilled– skilled in managing big data, recognizing patterns and identifying themes.
An adept problem-solver– the ability to find creative ways to leverage data to generate solutions.
A curious mind– asks questions and has an innate curiosity to explore new possibilities and uncover knowledge.
Empathetic and customer-centric– the ability to put yourself in the customer shoes to ensure the best possible customer experience.
The work involves determining how to gather relevant data about customers and potential customers through market research, collecting the data and breaking it down in a meaningful way for the business. By analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data, a customer insights manager helps the business understand what motivates customers, whilst leveraging this data in support of business initiatives and strategies and identifying areas of unmet customer needs. Customer data tells a compelling story, and the customer insights manager must be able to tell this story in different ways for different audiences.
General areas of responsibility include developing and implementing customer driven projects and research; conducting market research; and identifying, measuring and predicting current and future customer trends.
