The Procurement Coordinator is an integral member of the Plant Accounting team with direct responsibility for maintaining/monitoring production and other plant accounting systems. This position is a contract position for a period of up to 12 months.

DUTIES

• Ensure the accurate and timely completion of production accounting;
• Prepare weekly production accounting analysis and reporting;
• Coordination and preparation of Cheese/Powder loadout shipping documentation;
• Provide support for the finance team in other areas of plant accounting;
• Assist with inventory control, analysis and reporting;
• Create ad-hoc reports as required;
• Ensure that all work is performed safely while following OH&S, WCB, and Company regulations and procedures;
• Available to work all shifts to accommodate accounting deadlines as required;
• Undertakes other functions as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• A passion for excellence demonstrated by a commitment, attention to detail, a positive attitude and leadership skills;
• Minimum of business diploma in accounting;
• Experience with accounting applications;
• Strong computer skills (MS Office applications) proficient in Excel;
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated analytical organizational skills;
• Must be self-motivated, results orientated, possess high degree of initiative, work well under pressure;
• Highly organized and efficient with strong communication and team skill;
• Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule.
