CNC Machinist

• Description:* This busy machine shop is looking to add 1 CNC machinist to their team to keep up with clients orders. They have a quick turnaround time of next day orders for some clients and need to have more machines running. This is a long term work opportunity Candidate will be operating CNC lathe and mill machines. The machine has FANUC controls. They will be following blueprints for fabricating these parts.
• Measuring tools to measure and do quality checks.
• Read and understand blueprint designs
• Set up machinery for production
• Rework metal to create the blueprint design
• Measure and verify all calculations prior to setting up the machinery
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment
• Complete routine maintenance of their machinery
• Enter all relevant codes to specify the feed, speed, and cut of any toolpath for a CNC *Shift:* Day shift *Additional Skills & Qualifications:* measurement experience tool experience CNC milling programming experience is an asset - will be trained on
