The Cloud Solution Architect will take both an advisory and hands on approach in reviewing and developing and executing cloud solutions that meet our client’s goals and required outcomes. This role is part of our Professional Services Team which contains Solution Consultants, Solution Architects, and Project Managers. As a Solution Architect, you will work closely with our Solution Consultants to ensure their proposed solution will meet the required client objectives and ensure the solution meets Invero’s criteria for governance, cost analysis, and security. You will be tasked to execute of projects, resolutions of issues, write analytic reports, and hold presentations and workshops with clients. The Solution Architect may also be called upon to design more complex solutions and assist Solution Consultants with the execution of a proposed design. In order to increase knowledge and skills on within our team Invero’s Solution Architects will also take opportunities to teach and increase the knowledge of the Solution Consultants. Invero’s Solution Architect will act as a mentor to our Solution Consultants and will assist in helping them overcome challenges or problems they are facing.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work with clients and internal team members to ensure project goals and objectives are clearly defined and achievable
• Create, review, and approve design solutions using Invero productized offerings as well as customized solutions to meet the goals and objectives of the client. These solutions may include, but will not be limited to, public cloud infrastructure (IaaS) and platform (PaaS), Machine Learning and anything that Azure has to offer now or in the future
• Find future opportunities when working with clients, generate notes that can be reviewed and potentially put forward as next phase or new projects
• Responsible to lead proposal writing processes which includes understanding the customer requirements, contribute to preparing the solution – presenting capabilities, experience, solutioning and pricing, and authoring the response
• Ensure your knowledge/education is continuously improved to keep up with the fast pace of change in the industry
• Offer feedback and recommendations to the development team for new productized offerings when you see a need across multiple client projects
• Experience with Azure DevOps, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation
• Ability to look at designed solutions with a critical eye and provide constructive feedback as a learning opportunity for improvement
• Ensure all solutions and the execution of those solutions are providing value to the client
• Take a support and mentor Cloud Consultants and other team members
• Remain conscious of project budgets, timelines, and risks

Qualifications

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE:

• 3-4 years of experience with Microsoft Azure
• 7-10 years of experience in systems administration
• Microsoft Certifications required:
• AZ-103 Azure Administrator or AZ-400 Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
• AZ-300 Azure Architect Technologies
• In depth Infrastructure knowledge
• Active Directory experience
• Windows Server
• A great attitude with a focus on delivery
• Continuous Learner
• Hands on with technologies
• Willing and able to share technical learnings with the entire team
• Presentation experience
• Great Communication skills
• Infrastructure Design and Management knowledge
• Database Knowledge
• Reverse engineering skills
• Fluent written and oral English
• Self-motivated and good at time management

NICE TO HAVE EXPERIENCE:

• Additional Microsoft Certifications:
• AZ-400 Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
• AZ-500 Azure Security Engineer Associate
• AZ-300 & AZ-301 Azure Solution Architect Expert
• Other certifications as required to ensure competency and advanced specialization goals can be reached and maintained

You must be comfortable talking to people and have the ability to get in front of a client and talk knowledgeably about technical topics on many different topics. If you don’t know something, you are the type of person who will do some research and quickly mock something up in the lab to expand your knowledge so that you can confidently come back to the team with a tried and tested solution.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $120,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
