Job Description

The Clinical Quality Improvement Practitioner supports system wide process improvement with a patient/family centered focus. This position directly supports the implementation of the Saskatchewan Healthcare Management System and patient safety through a clinical lens. Individual acts as a leader, educator, facilitator, motivator and coordinator of Quality Improvement programs and initiatives implemented by SHA’s clinical staff and departments.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Qualifications and Experience Degree or diploma RN/RPN Current registration with SRNA or RPNA Group facilitation is a must. Lean Leader or LILT experience is a must. Class 5 driver�s license required KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to work effectively in team environment and independently Excellent organizational and communication skills Establish and grow working relationships across various portfolios Demonstrated knowledge in data collection Strong computer skills

Additional Information

Experience: Requires a minimum of three to five years of nursing experience. Experience with continuous quality improvement methodology and tools, and project management preferred. Previous experience in group facilitation, design and delivery of programing required. Proficiency demonstrated in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Required Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Nursing Registered or eligible to be registered with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA). 112 hours of work in a 3 week rotation. Shifts (days, evenings, nights) including actual hours, date of commencement and temporary end dates are for informational purpose only and may be subject to change. The successful applicant must provide a satisfactory & valid Criminal Record Check vulnerable sector query before an Offer of Employment can be made.
