Position Title:
Client Services Representative
Location:YMCA Contact Centre, (955 Burrard St, Vancouver, BC V6Z 1Y2)
Terms: Permanent, Part Time (8-24 hours/week)
Shifts: Shifts vary; but will include Saturday and Sunday

Start Date:
As soon as possible

Salary:
0-500 hours $15.75 per hour
501-1000 hours $16.30 per hour
1001 – 1500 hours $16.87 per hour
1500 + hours $17.46 per hour

Reports To:
Manager, Client Services

Nature & Scope:

The Client Services Representative works collaboratively with YMCA staff and volunteers to provide exceptional service to YMCA members, guests, and staff. The primary focus is on the client experience, resolving any client issues and promoting membership sales and services.


Major Responsibilities:


  • Respond professionally and accurately to external and internal client phone calls and email queries to diagnose and resolve issues
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Assist with client transactions such as processing accounting transactions, member activations, etc.
  • Promotes membership sales and services in a positive and professional manner.
  • Provide assistance and promote use of self-service tools
  • Assists with training new staff/volunteers in procedures and practices
  • Assists with the development and implementation of program plans and materials, ensuring compliance with Association/legislative requirements.
  • Ensures the safety of all members, participants, staff, and property by following YMCA standards/policies/procedures and ensuring they are maintained amongst all members and staff.
  • Staff will work with operating systems such as ACTIVENet, Microsoft Office365, Excel, Work, and other database systems
  • Participates in and supports Association-wide initiatives and fundraising events.

Requirements:
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customer service orientation
  • Conflict resolution training an asset
  • Successful candidates will be required to provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Reference Check/Vulnerable Sector Search issued no later than six (6) months preceding your start date
  • 3 professional references
  • The YMCA has implemented a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy requiring all staff and volunteers to be vaccinated as per the timelines set out by the province
