The Opportunity

We are looking for an energetic and motivated individual to engage and develop relationships with our current and prospective referring community.

Reporting to the Client Relations/Marketing Manager, the successful candidate is empowered to use their self-motivation and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain strong relationships in the community. The majority of your time will be visiting referring clinics in the Edmonton and surrounding area to promote and educate on our diagnostic imaging services.

Role and Responsibilities

Differentiate MIC as the Diagnostic Imaging provider of choice in the Edmonton Medical Community.

Support physician needs to build trusted working relationships. Educate physicians and referring clinic staff members with associated marketing/scientific materials supported by clinical evidence.

Cultivate professional working relationship and become the “go-to individual” for ideas, and feedback from practitioners.

Communicate observed market trends and competitive intelligence with manager and team members.

Make calls on clinics to inform referring physician staff of new and existing programs, services and locations.

Establish and maintain a travel schedule that will allow consistent contact with existing and potential customers. Schedule must follow sales plan and logical routing plan.

Implement medical education activities on territory (CME and Product In-service).

Manage assigned territory within allocated expense budget.

Project development and management as directed by Client Relations/Marketing Manager.

Collaborate routinely with Client Relations team members and internal stakeholders on cross functional initiatives.

Maintain up to date CRM entry, expense management and complete all administrative paperwork in a timely manner.

Participate in local trade shows, practitioner education events and company meetings as appropriate.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Diagnostic imaging background or related business degree – Healthcare, Pharmaceutical or Marketing preferred
• Highly personable, positive personality
• Self-starter, effective time manager
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer-focused and result-oriented
• Comfortable with cold calling
• Strong business and analytical capabilities
• Working knowledge of Alberta Healthcare landscape
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Valid Driver’s License
