Thompson Valley Disposal is the oldest and largest bin/dumpster rental & waste disposal business in the Thompson-Valley, working with long-term customers since 2002. In the coming months, we will continue investing in the service/product offerings, infrastructure/equipment and people we employ. In doing so, we are in need of a strong Class 3 driver that has the appropriate attributes to lead the day-to-day operations of this business and portray a positive image to the many clients we serve.

Qualifications Needed:

• Valid Class 3 driver’s license;

• Ability to maneuver trucks into tight spaces;

• Physically fit and able to lift, stack, pull and carry heavy items;

• Strong communication and customer service skills;

• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with internal company staff;

• Flexibility in scheduling;

• Sufficient mechanical ability to troubleshoot and make repairs to equipment.

• Hazardous materials transportation certification is an asset

Position Highlights:

• Competitive hourly rate: $23-25 per hour - depending on experience;

Responsibilities Include:

• Operating bin trucks (10, 20, and 40 yard bins) to transport goods and materials to and from a variety of customers;

• Complete necessary paperwork, including accurate logbooks, inspection log books and records of cargo;

• Provide exceptional service and ability to represent Thompson Valley Disposal in a positive, friendly and professional manner;

• Ability to follow and maintain health, safety and safe work environment procedures;

• Maintain deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• Day shift

Licence/Certification:

• Class 3 Licence (required)
