Ladco Company Limited was founded in 1919 and today is a diversified corporation with interests in land development, commercial and residential real estate, property management, heavy construction and building products, and hospitality. Ladco is privately owned, conservatively financed, professionally managed, community minded and employs over 600 Manitobans.

We have an opportunity in the Fort Richmond area of Winnipeg. This incumbent is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the interior and exterior common areas of our buildings.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Clean all interior common areas including laundry rooms.

· Daily walk through of all floors, ensuring all common areas are clean and free of debris.

· Daily grounds inspection and litter pick-up.

· Perform minor maintenance.

· Sweep/shovel front steps as required and apply ice melt or sand as conditions warrant and complete log sheets.

· Check building and grounds at night for burnt out light bulbs and change as required.

· Regular inspections of all emergency lighting and fire extinguishers and complete log sheets.

· Complete or assist in equipment testing as requested.

· Carry the Company’s cell phone and be available 24hrs/day to respond to emergencies.

· Provide relief duties of the Company’s multi-family properties as scheduled and directed by the Company.

· Deliver notices to tenants.

· Assist the Resident Manager duties from time to time, as directed by the Company.

· Complete all required reports, paper work and perform other duties as assigned by the company.

· Live on site required.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Exceptional cleaning skills.

· Strong attention to detail, reliable, able to follow direction.

· Strong organization, prioritization and time management skills.

· Exceptional customer service and people skills.

· Ability to work flexible hours/on call.

· Excellent communication (both verbal and written).

· Professional personal presentation.

· Criminal record check and child abuse registry check required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $35,000.00-$42,000.00 per year
