About The Role

We’re looking for Business Analysts to join our growing team!

As a Business Analyst, your work will have a big impact on the Commercial Lines and Specialty Solutions Operations & Planning team which supports the strategic projects initiatives. You will be responsible for obtaining, analyzing, documenting, communicating, and validating business requirements. The Operations and Planning department is seeking individuals with exceptional analytical and organizational skills for a Business Analyst positions.

This is a full time BA position available in any of our West, Ontario, Quebec or Atlantic offices.

What You’ll Do Here

• Collaborate with various business stakeholders to assess identified system/process needs
• Contribute to the resolution of issues and suggest alternatives to achieve objectives
• Identify and collaborate with project stakeholders, including individuals in Corporate Underwriting, Actuarial, Distribution, Sales & Business Development, other teams within Ops & Planning & IT
• Support the planning, tracking and management of small projects or project phases
• Support project Change Management activities, including implementation efforts and transition issues to ensure business risks are identified and solutions are recommended
  

Qualifications

What you bring to the table:

• You have experience in business analysis, project activities, underwriting or data analysis
• You forge strong relationships with internal stakeholders and can work with all levels from individual contributor to executive, and from different areas of the business
• You have strong written and verbal communication skills and able to explain complex issues to employees and management alike
• You can work on multiple projects and quickly adjust in a rapid changing environment, and you work well under pressure and tight deadlines
• You are a self-starter who can work effectively with little supervision
• You have strong organizational and personal time management skills
• You are knowledgeable in Classic, Commercial P&C, Commercial Auto Underwriting and CCL2
• You are bilingual (French and English)
• PMP, CAPM, CBAP and/or CCBA certifications are an asset
• Proven familiarity with Specialty Solutions is an asset
• Experience with Visio and workflow diagramming is an asset
• Experience with operational change management is an asset
• Experience and knowledge of agile and scrum framework is an asset
