REPORTS TO:Plant manager, Sherwood park

LOCATION: SHERWOOD PARK, AB

JOB SUMMARY:We urgently in need of a permanent full-time BulkShipper for our Sherwood Park, AB location. The successful candidate will be providing visibility for all aspects of production to other departments. Will work closely with production staff on the establishment of order priority in accordance with manufacturing requirements and products received.

RESPONSIBILITIES:The duties for this role will include, but are not limited to:

• Include other duties such as packaging (Bagger Operator) & Bulk Receiving coverage
• Loading and unloading of ingredients and finished feed
• Meet picking expectations set by manager and shift lead
• Constant quality awareness
• Identify ingredient correctly
• Complete proper documentation
• Housekeeping
• Operates forklift as required
• Timely processing for on time delivery
• Work with all employees to maintain integrity of Company standards
• Maintain courteous and professional relationship with customers and co-workers
• Ensure a positive customer experience
• Willing to work overtime so that the customers’ requirements are met

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Forklift experience is an asset
• Experience around trucks an asset, Class 1 license an asset.
• Willingness to be coached and learn processes
• Good interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills / machinery operation
• Working at heights
• Numeracy and accuracy
• Use and understanding of English language

• Periodically will work near machines & in conditions that include exposure to dust and noise.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be Physically able to lift up to 25kgs.
• Use of personal protection equipment will be required (e.g. hard-hat, safety boots, etc) provided by the company.

• Willing to train the right candidate.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Permanent, Full-time, Shift Work, and Over-time required from time to time.
