The Brokerage Coordinator & Sales role will be responsible for supporting a team of Winnipeg based commercial real estate agents. This position will manage team coordination and organization, deal documentation, listing processes, advertising and marketing, research and data collection/analysis, client liaison and various day to day administrative duties.
Duties:
Client Interaction:
- Build a detailed, personal knowledge of the Winnipeg commercial real estate market (i.e., property types, building classes, areas of the city, zoning) including gathering and maintaining building and listing information in our database
- Responds to general inquiries and provides information as needed, while maintaining confidentiality of sales, marketing, client and proprietary information and data in all communications
- Coordinate property tours and send packages
- Coordinate client activity for specific accounts and transactions
- Assist with all aspects of relationship management with clients and required reporting
- Client database management
- Networking with clients and other industry professionals
- Attend International Council of Shopping Centre conferences as may be required
- Prospecting for new client relationships, conducting initial cold and warm contacts/touches
Transactional:
- Organize and prepare transaction documentation, i.e. Confidentiality Agreements, Offers, Listing Agreements, closing documents, trade records, etc.
- Prepare research reports, site analysis and options matrixes
- Abstract leases, critical dates deal tracker and preparing proposals and pitch/presentation decks under the direction of Team leaders
- Negotiating Listing Agreements, Leasing and Purchase & Sale Agreements with direction from the team
Administration & Coordination
- Coordinate marketing programs for listings and design materials suitable for newspaper/magazine ads, direct mailers, e-mail distribution, i.e. brochures and on-line marketing
- Coordinate signage installations for listed properties
- Organize and implement listing and team marketing strategies including management of team’s social media communication
- Research and prepare market surveys
- Compile property information and market date for listing proposals and opinions of value including title searches, zoning/planning reports etc.
- Create listing proposals and pitches with the direction of the team
- Coordinate and manage agents/teams’ deadlines, meetings, tasks and client interactions
- Maintenance and administration of various databases, updating relevant transactional information as required
- Proofreading and limited contract review
- Perform general clerical tasks, including but not limited to data entry
- Miscellaneous requests and special projects as required by the team to facilitate the transaction of McCOR real estate business
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary graduate
- Strong skill sets in electronic marketing (Twitter, Linkedin, email marketing)
- Valid Commercial Real Estate License or in the process of obtaining one
- Experienced in commercial sector product knowledge with submarket geographic expertise
- Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience
- Individual who exhibits a strong desire to pursue a high-performance career
- Ambitious self-starters with a high degree of self-confidence and motivation
- Exceptional organizational and time management capabilities - you have an eye for detail and proactively review all work for potential errors
- Effective and concise communicator with a strong command of grammar and writing skills
- Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles; conducts basic financial analysis.
- Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts and/or commissions.
- Good overall business acumen, strong values and integrity
- Proficient in intermediate functions including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, InDesign
- Vehicle and valid driver’s license.
- Clean criminal record check required.
- Only fully vaccinated candidates will be considered.
