Our client is one of Canada’s largest Cosmetic & Beauty distributors. We have an exciting opportunity for a career-oriented Brand Marketing Coordinator in Oakville, Ontario.
The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Brand Manager and will assist with multiple projects in Mass Beauty, working with multiple brands. Experience with Walmart is a great asset!!
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the progression of projects as well as multi-tasking and flawlessly executing multiple projects.
- Prepare and maintain brand calendars, presentations, line lists, order forms, product training and merchandising launch plans.
- Facilitate marketing, filed and merchandising receipt.
- Execute creative briefings for various creative needs (retailer flyers, print advertising, online/ecommerce initiatives, merchandising requirements
- Develop and initiate innovative plans, programs, and strategies to provide significant value-added service to the customer.
- Assist with Canadian ready marketing layouts (copy development and proofing) Research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market trends, forecasts, and account analysis.
- Manage and maintain new item management database for various brands.
- Monitor and report Brand’s marketing activities relevant to Canadian Market, manage regulatory requirements including research, submission, follow-up and maintaining database.
- Maintain Showroom, Sample Room and Work Room
- Complete sample requisition/fulfillment for various requirements (PR, Meetings, advertising etc.)
- Coordinate’s meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, coordinating requirements, established contracts, developing schedules and assignments.
- Update and manage social holiday calendars to assist in marketing concepts.
- Monitors budgets by comparing results with plans and forecasts, assist with promotional planning, tracking and allocations.
- Assist with inventory management and perform day to day duties as required.
Qualifications:
- University degree or college diploma in Business Administration/Marketing
- 1 year experience working in Marketing, working in the Health and Beauty industry would be a great asset.
- Intermediate skills in Word, PowerPoint and Excel which must include formulations such as VLOOKUP, ROUNDUP, PIVOT TABLES
- Ability to prioritize, plan and manage multiple projects.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented and organized.
- Strong analytical skills
Compensation: Base salary + Benefits, RRSP Match,
