Inter-Co Division 10 Inc. is an established construction subcontracting firm specializing in the distribution and installation of specialty products required in the commercial construction industry. We have been a leader in the North American market for over 30 years, and we complete hundreds of installation projects each year. We are a growing company and are looking for a talented, committed, and experienced individual to join us as a Project Accountantworking out of our office in Richmond, B.C. office.

As a Project Accountant You Will Be Responsible For

• calling customers to collect outstanding accounts, holdbacks & working with Project Managers to implement shipping holds
• customer invoicing, specific to the construction industry, including progress draws (experience with Textura is an asset)
• invoice entry & check preparation
• bank reconciliations
• credit applications & approvals for customers
• monthly inventory
• PST/GST filing and remittance; WCB filing
• collaborating with Project Managers and the Sales & Estimating team
• Project profit/loss tracking
  

To succeed in this role, you will need an attention to detail, the ability to work with customers on the telephone and experience in construction accounting. We also want an individual that is a strong communicator, has a positive attitude and a willingness to commit to our company.

The Following Are Mandatory Requirements For All Applicants

• 2+ years of accounting experience
• interest in the construction industry
• post-secondary degree from a community college or university
• experience with an accounting software package
• personal vehicle and valid driver’s license
  

Salary to be determined based on experience
