The recruitment team at Myticas Consulting is looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect who would be interested in a contract opportunity offered within the Ottawa, ON region.

RESPONSIBILITY AND DECISION-MAKING PROCESS

The Enterprise Architect will report directly tthe Manager, Implementation and Digital Transformation.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Must have a 3 year diploma / degree in Computer Science/Systems/Engineering/Information Systems or Business Administration with a Computer Major
• Must have TOGAF Certification
• Azure Solution Architect certification considered an asset
• Demonstrated knowledge of business processes and operations, along with the strategic use of technology tenable business strategy
• Proven experience with business and technical requirement analysis, modeling, verification, and methodology development
• Ability tcreate Enterprise Architecture artifacts related tViewpoint, Current State, Future State, and Gap Analysis.
• Extensive experience with developing strategic plans, planning and deploying of Business and IT initiatives.
• Strong technology research skill set with proven ability tarchitect and present technology alternatives based on scope-level business concepts
• Proven experience in systems design and development
• Strong understanding of information processing principles and practices
• Strong knowledge of hardware and software evaluation principles and practice
• Good knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
• Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
• A minimum of 8 years’ experience is required in the following areas:
• 8+ years of architecture experience including framework and methodology development;
• Must have Experience with other development platforms, preferably .net, C++ and Microsoft Azure
• Must have experience with real-time integration; experience with integration of COTS solutions via API or Web-Services;
• Must have experience architecting Azure platform tsupport networking, security and API Management including connectivity with on-premise applications
• Must understand best practices and design trade-offs, with the ability tcommunicate design choices;
• Must have experience in managing and introducing a wide range of enterprise applications and technologies;
• Must have experience in analyzing business requirements;
• Must have experience in proposing technology solutions meeting partner and IT stakeholders requirements;
• Must have experience in product lifecycle management; including introducing, maintaining and decommissioning IT applications.
• Must have proven success with projects involving the skills and technologies above, with a portfoliof references tspeak for the work;
• Vendor and contract management would be an asset;
• Producing strategic and technical roadmaps would be an asset;
• Participation in knowledge sharing and mentorship;
• Must have knowledge of internet and cloud architecture paradigms
• Experience with cloud technologies, hybrid architectures, and their impact on traditional data centers including architecting platforms that are scalable tclient roadmaps
• Experience with Post-Secondary Education preferred
• Ability twork effectively with upper management, peers and front-line staff
• Ability tprovide presentations tsenior executives about technical service delivery strategies, issues and options
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent project management skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
