We are currently looking to fill the positions of BC Housing Supervisors for My Place and Waterview. This position is a great opportunity for one with strong interpersonal and supervisory skills to take on new responsibilities. The role will be responsible for the day-to-day duties of scheduling and interfacing with guards and clients on these sites, as well as scheduling and other standard supervisory duties.Essential Job Duties

• Responsible for the general operation of all Paladin staff on each site
• Supervising, mentoring, coaching and training site staff.
• Following our continual disciplinary model and implementing as needed.
• Corresponding with the Paladin Account Manager and HR department to ensure all required information is compiled and up to date.
• Assisting the Paladin Account Manager with staff schedules and addressing schedule abnormalities as required.
• Maintaining team morale through effective communication and organizing team engagement.
• Responding to site emergencies in a lead capacity, contacting and coordinating with emergency responders.
• Patrolling the BCHousing sites and overseeing the success thereof for all parties.
• Assisting the Paladin Account Manager with ensuring all Paladin staff are providing exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors and patrons.
• Report writing and reviewing all staff reports to provide to constructive criticism.
• Tracking training and signing off to ensuring compliance of contractual obligations.
• Ensuring the completion of all required online courses.
• Collaborate with the Paladin Account Manager to create comprehensive site drills for the staff.
• Assisting the Paladin Account Manager with maintaining the Paladin OH&S program on site, including risk assessments and First Aid Records.
• Along-with the Paladin Account Manager, ownership of the overall success of the site both during working hours and afterhours.
• Other site related duties as required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably in security.
• Valid Security License or Basic Security Training.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and with limited supervision.
• A high level of maturity and professionalism.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Physically able to stand, sit and/or walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be at least 19 years of age and have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• First aid training, conflict resolution, and Advanced Security Training are considered assets.
