ROLE @ MNP

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Data Science, Technology Development, and business teams in the further development of MNP’s applied data solutions
• Develop and maintain Azure data platform, including all aspects of data ingestion, transformation, and modelling
• Develop stored procedures and scripts for data extraction, load, and transformation processes
• Play a leadership role in the development of the data architecture, developing a strong understanding of business processes and transforming and modelling data for analytical consumption.
• Develop and maintain data integration and ETL processes using SSIS and other tools
• Performance monitor and orchestrate all analytical data related processes
• Assist in the development of data management roadmap
• Experience with security and architecture design for on premise and cloud Microsoft data platforms
• Experience with database design and data modelling
• Experience with ETL/ELT design and implementation
• Hands on experience working with business intelligence and development teams
• Willingness to develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services, businesses and industry.
  

Skills And Experience

• Completion of a University Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5 or more years of professional experience in a data engineering, data architecture, or BI development roles
• Experience with data architecture
• Experience delivering solutions on the Azure platform
• Demonstrated experience wit Azure Data Lake and Azure Storage solutions
• Experience deploying solutions using Azure Data Factory
• Extensive experience in data integration, transformation, and preparation using Microsoft tools
• Experience with ETL & Data Migration using SSIS
• Experience with Azure SQL server (cloud services)
• Experience with Power BI would be an asset
