As Audit Manager/Senior Manager, you will

• Oversee and conduct external auditsin a team environment, using established audit methodologies.
• Develop audit plans, collect and analyze data, oversee audit procedure completion, write audit reports, and present audit results.
• Evaluate financial statements and assess accounts for accuracy and compliance.
• Investigate internal systems and operations.
• Assess risk management approaches.
• Report audit findings and recommend improvements regarding the finances and processes of government organizations.

Audits are conducted in a wide range of industries and sectors such as education, health, insurance, finance, environment, and infrastructure.

Requirements

Education

• CPA designation and knowledge of Canadian accounting and assurance standards.

Experience

• 3+ years of external audit experience is required. IT audit experience is an asset
