Audio Visual Technician (2-6 Year Contract)

Location: Kamloops, BC

  • Open to Resources who can relocate to the Interior
Summary

Responsible to ensure all equipment is in working order prior to use and provide on-site technical repair and support. These Services are required across campus, including all classrooms, labs, meeting rooms, conferences rooms, offices, etc. The Contractor will work closely with the IT Services department and will be guided by the department’s management team

Requirements
  • Maintain all meeting rooms and boardrooms
  • Support the technology in board rooms and classroom
  • Ensure they are operational before any large VC, or AV meetings or presentations
  • Support end users
  • Breakfix
  • Maintenance
  • Training of staff
  • Installations, adds and removal
  • Some after hour work, evening or weekend, provide overtime rate.
  • Recommendations for upgrades, or improvements – work with Microserve team
