Job Purpose:

The Associate Raw Scheduler will be responsible for ensuring that potatoes are delivered to the factory with the right quality and volume to match the finished quality of the production schedule. Using digital technology, the Associate Scheduler will analyze raw material quality data along with finished product requirements and be the interface between the plant operations and our growers to achieve fit for purpose raw delivery. Also, the Associate Scheduler will be required to perform other duties as assigned including but not limited to grower field visits, storage inspections and harvest yield sampling.

Job Responsibilities:

• 
  Match raw material requirements to the production schedule to provide target finished quality while optimizing cost through potato recovery.
• Coordinate delivery of loads using digital tools and effectively communicate daily plan with growers and plant staff.
• Meet regularly with production department to review factory quality and volume needs.
• Support Field Representatives in grower visits/storage inspections.
• Ensure food safety policies are followed and records are in place prior to and during raw receipt.
• Provide support for loading/unloading company storages.
• Work closely with growers and Ag specialists to maintain accurate inventory management.
• Regular communication with 3rd party and/or growers on raw transportation.
• Ensures weekend coverage of scheduling and other departmental support.
• Other duties assigned by scheduler and/or Department Manager.

Measures of Success:

• 
  Deliver on KPI’s which align to the regional Agriculture Strategy.
• Minimize finished product quality holds and plant downtime due to raw material issues.
• Build strong strategic partnerships with local growers and production department.

Key Qualification & Experiences:

• 
  Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience preferred
• 1 – 2 years working experience, preferably within agricultural, manufacturing or supply chain.
• Interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to develop and nurture strong cross-functional and departmental relationships.
• Working knowledge as well as ability and willingness to utilize digital tools for analysis and planning.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Excellent command of English, both verbal & written.
• Proven achievement in prior employment.

Travel

• 
  Mostly local within the growing region but an ability to travel as business needs require
