Named Avenue Magazine’s Best Wedding Planner for 2022, we are a Calgary based wedding and event company that specializes in event consultation, coordination and management. We niche in managing weddings, but we also offer consulting services and planning packages that can be customized for any type of wedding or event.

We also host some of our own events in Calgary and the surrounding areas.

Job description

Your role: You will work alongside our Lead Wedding Manager to learn how to manage Fiore weddings, especially at our partnering company, the Gathered.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Assisting with managing and coordinating weddings in Calgary and area. Helping with set up and tear down. Assisting and sometimes running rehearsals. Participating in client meetings, site visits and other meetings when necessary. Assisting with some light administration duties like creating spreadsheets, responding to emails, etc.

Qualifications: You must be available most weekends and some evenings, especially during our busiest season (May - September). You must have a valid driver’s license and access to a dependable vehicle. Be very personable and enjoy working with clients in person. A good problem solver and quick on your feet. You can handle stressful situations gracefully and with tact. Very organized. Capable of physical labour (lifting max 50 lbs) and being on your feet for long periods of time most shifts.

Work Experience: Experience working weddings and events is preferred, or even experience in the hospitality industry, but we are also willing to train the right person who is eager to learn, passionate about serving people and who works well under pressure.
