Asset Coordinator (Full Time, Contract)
YMCA Calgary - Multiple Locations
Salary Range: $37,611.00/yr - $41,790.00/yr
Start Date: Immediately
End Date: 12 Month Contract

What qualifications are we looking for?

At YMCA Calgary we strive to ensure our employees are a fit based on their strengths, interests, and future goals. The successful candidate will have the following;
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience administrative experience;
  • Ability to multi-task and demonstrate strong time management skills;
  • Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be effective independently;
  • Housekeeping Experienc;e
  • Class 5 Operators License and current Driver’s Abstract;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills;
  • MS package computer competency is required;
  • Own Transportation;
  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR C certification (CPR recertified within the last 12 months);
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination as per YMCA Calgary mandatory vaccination policy;
  • Evidence of a clear Police Information Check including a Vulnerable Sector Search;
  • Three professional references required.

What does this role look like at YMCA Calgary?

Duties and responsibilities include:
  • Carry out administrative tasks – check and review invoices from suppliers, verify that items are reflected and correctly billed, issue and receive Po’s in the system;
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels in each facility;
  • Assists in procurement of supplies;
  • Conduct price checks, follow up on shipping dates and verify that products are received and accounted for;
  • Travel to various retail locations for supply purchases;
  • Issue and monitor angus work order requests and ensure it is completed in a timely manner;
  • Participate and conduct quality inspections with management team and service partners;
  • Assists in enhance cleaning requests;
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with staff and service partners;
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure, be proactive, flexible and adapt to change;
  • Be responsible for maintaining YMCA’s standards set out by the Public Health Act, the Uniform Building;
  • Standards Act, the Occupational Health and Safety Act and YMCA Calgary;
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Contract Management.
