We are looking for a Architectural Drafter / Project Coordinator with experience to join our team.


You are a passionate individual that contributes to our company’s success. You enjoy the challenges and victories of the construction and development industry. You are solutions-oriented and take initiative to get work completed in the most effective way. You take ownership of your role and constantly look for areas to improve. You will report to our Construction Managers and will work will all of our site and office staff.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare architectural design drawings for building permit, tender, and construction using AutoCAD
  • Outline specifications and complete tender packages for trade tendering
  • Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, consultants, city officials and staff as part of the project team
  • Coordinates project documentation, including creating submittals, purchase/change orders, and shop drawings
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate with a team

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Completion of a post-secondary diploma in architectural design and drafting, building technology, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in drafting/AutoCAD experience in architecture or interior design. Experience in office and commercial tenant improvements projects is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the BC Building Code and Municipal Zoning Bylaws
  • Strong organizational skills and attention-to-detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently
  • Good team player, self-motivated and willing to learn
  • Excellent phone and email etiquette and ability to write clear and concise business communications
  • Ability to work proactively both independently and in a team environment
