We are seeking an Apartment Building Caretaker for a building in Edmonton, AB.

Specific Activities: Daily assistance to the Property Manager as required in the following areas: daily cleaning of common areas as directed, garbage removal and recycling around bins including carts, grounds up keep such as, but not limited to, assist mowing lawns & yard work, clearing of debris gathered by parking lot curbs, assist with snow removal, etc., cleaning suites of vacating tenants, entry walk way cleaning including sweeping and garbage removal etc., upkeep and tidiness of mechanical rooms, storage rooms, garage, tools, lawn equipment, minor maintenance including plumbing and electrical, appliance troubleshooting, drywall repair and painting, maintenance of vacant and occupied units, etc.,

Work with minimal supervision.

Equipment Operated/Used: Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, Carpet cleaning machines, Steam cleaners, Power tools, Power lawn mowers, Small tractors (lawn/snow removal attachments), Snow blowers Maintenance Work: Minor plumbing, electrical and small repairs including painting & sanding.

Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal record check, Driver’s validity license check Work

Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Own vehicle, Valid driver’s license
