Our expectations

Reporting to the Manager, Master Data Management, the Analyst is responsible for their business unit’s quality control and performance management tools and for the development of these tools.

Your role

Help the Manager develop performance metrics and quality control tools

• In collaboration with the Manager, establish data management business practices
• Develop tools to improve data management
• Help the product review analyst generate product assortment reports
• Find and recommend solutions or improvements to the team after analyzing data quality
• Take part in various corporate projects; if required, work with several teams
• Act as a resource person to help ensure the successful production of reports
• Conduct follow-ups regarding the daily advancement of the report production process and inform the Coordinator and/or Manager of any problems
• Produce dashboards and statistics for the business unit
• Answer various questions from report users
• Assist with improving the report production process, which includes the methods used to extract and process data as well as present and communicate results
  

Requirements

The qualifications we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in a similar position
• Spoken and written bilingualism (French and English)
• Ability to organize workload and set priorities to meet deadlines
• Thoroughness, initiative, and autonomy
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office 365 Suite and advanced Excel features (pivot tables and search functions)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Access (tables, query, macro)
• Knowledge of the retail industry and, more specifically, home improvement products (an asset)
