Location - Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport

A_ Airport Groundside Extra Guard_ is responsible for protecting the establishment and ensures all civilians are safe at all times. The incumbent will be the first-line representative to all staff, customers, and clients.

Required Qualification:

• Positive outlook and enthusiasm for the Airport Community.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain a valid RAIC (Blue Pass) & Driver’s License
• Apprehend criminals and evict violators
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents
• Patrol randomly or regularly building, perimeter and parkade
• Effective written/oral communication skills in English.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to an ever-changing work environment
• Post-secondary education. (Not a requirement but would be considered an asset)
• First Aid and C.P.R. certification. (Not a requirement but would be considered an asset)
• Verbal skills in a second language. (Not a requirement but would be considered an asset)
• Previous work experience in these positions would be an asset

Shifts: – 06:00 -18:00 and 18:00 - 06:00 (12 hrs shift)

Job Type: Full-time
