A dynamic and stable manufacturing company in business since 1963 is looking for an Administrative / Office Assistant.

The Assistant’s primary role is to represent the Executives when they are not present; assist them when they are, and otherwise filter out administration and/or requests, to only the Executives when necessary and/or at the approval stage.

General Tasks/duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Receiving, reviewing, and writing e-mails.
  • Managing executive calendars.
  • Taking notes (and photos) on tours of the manufacturing plant/factory; thereafter compiling good working notes and following up on tasks that are created/assigned/given during the factory walks. Sending out related e-mails.
  • Taking minutes at meetings; following up on the creation and completion of tasks arising from the meetings.
  • Editing, filing, preparing minutes ahead of meetings.
  • Liaising between salesmen and executives on customer queries and return merchandise authorizations (RMAs).
  • General and office support and administration.

  • Bilingual French (can do with spoken French), English (writing and speaking).
  • Previous experience in an array of industries or a diverse working background may contribute to the ideal candidate, therefore previous experience is not required (emphasis will be placed on the key traits of the candidate).
