Your new company

Hays Recruitment has partnered up with one of marine company in Burlington, ON. Our client is looking for a 3-month contract Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team, which has the possibility of extensions or permanency.

Your new role

• Keying in invoices into operations/accounting system on a daily basis (approx. 1200-1500 per month)
• Matching invoices to PO, discrepancies followed up internally and externally
• Perform weekly cheque run, EFT, Wires, and on-line payments
• Keying employee expenses for reimbursement on bi-weekly payroll
• Co-ordination of company credit card expenses
• Performance monthly reconciliation of accounts payable aging to GL
• Microsoft Office (Excel primarily)
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need to succeed

• Experience in AP, ability to adapt, processing background, someone that can help support process side and help support future changes.
• 3-5 years of A/P experience
• Systems: Dynamics or similar preferred, MS Office Suite
• PO system – this is a marine specific system so they will be trained
