Accounting Clerk – Winnipeg, MB

PGF is currently seeking a highly dependable, detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Accounting Clerk. In addition to providing administrative and accounting support, the successful candidate will manage numerous day-to-day accounting activities. This position is ideally suited for individuals who are well organized, have excellent time management skills and can maintain a high level of performance while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Post and analyze month-end accounting entries;
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts;
• Prepare bank deposits and wire transfers;
• Reconcile bank statements;
• Support operations with various related requests;
• Check, verify and process invoices;
• Sort, code and enter accounts payable data;
• Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices;
• Perform filing and general administrative tasks;
• Provide reception relief as needed and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Accounting Diploma and/or prior experience in an accounting environment;
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook;
• Outstanding communication skills;
• Accounting experience in a high-volume environment considered an asset.
