A Snapshot of Your Day

Youwill act as a key account manager for one of our major customers in the nuclearpower generation business. You willdevelop relationships with the customer at various levels and functions withintheir organization, including engineering, supply chain, and operations. You will receive RFPs and be responsible torespond to the RFPs (with support from the bid management team), followup onoffers submitted, and ultimately win contracts!

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Lead the pursuit of specific Gas Services,Sales Central opportunities and follow up on all sales leads
  • Initiate proposal development with the HubSales team for all opportunities. Ensurethorough understanding of project scope and communicates the requirementsclearly to the proposal development team
  • Develop client relationships, displayexcellent listening skills and maintain a positive attitude. Responsible for defining, communicating, andbeing current on client needs and market conditions in the assigned territoryand remaining current on all Siemens Energy technology solutions relevant tothe client base and territory
  • Develop and communicate cost/benefit rationale to customers – whyeach scope or product is needed and value to customer
  • Be a proficient user of all system toolsavailable to the Sales Technical Support functions e.g. Salesforce
  • Update forecasts and attend weekly and/orbi-weekly Sales Team opportunity calls

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field with minimum of 5-10 years’ relevant work experience
  • Experience in the Canadian Nuclear / Power Generation industry. Direct experience in sales or servicing of steam turbines, high voltage equipment or generators is preferred
  • Direct experience with the internal processes used by major clients in the Power Gen industry, including project specification, contract procedures, terms and conditions, etc.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong and confident presence in front of clients
  • Travel required approx. 30 percent of time to fulfill the obligations for this position
