Jardeg is currently recruiting for a Junior Project Admin/ Labourer to join the Integrated Constructors Inc. maintenance team at the Cenovus Upgrader team on site near Lloydminster, SK. The shift will be 5 days on 2 days off with an immediate start date.

Cenovus is Canada’s third largest oil and natural gas producer and second largest refinery and upgrader. The Lloydminster asphalt refinery located in Lloydminster, AB produces more than 30 different types and grades of road asphalt from heavy oil. These range from road oils used for dust control to highway-grade asphalt. The upgrader in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan was commissioned in 1992 and processes heavy oil from the Lloyd thermal projects.

Responsibilities:

• Complete various organizational and administrative tasks to increase efficiency and effectiveness of project engineering team and ensure project deliverables are completed on budget and schedule.
• Overall site support for Project Management
• Variety of Administrative tasks that change daily depending on importance.
• Cleaning and preparation in the office as needed.
• Execute assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ask required questions and take the required direction to endure safety that work is accomplished safely.
• Understand and follow company safety management system and core values.
• Maintain all company tools and equipment to the required standards.
• Foster a cooperative and positive work atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Computer proficiency
• Strong written and communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• The ability to work independently but with good judgment to seek support and guidance when appropriate.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with solid organizational and time management skills.
• The ability to work well with a wide variety of people including office, field staff, diverse cultures, and various work experience levels.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
• Class 5 Driver’s License and 3 years abstract
