Dynamic Furniture Corp. is a promotional case goods manufacturer located in Calgary, Canada with a legacy of making quality furniture with affordability for 40 years. We are seeking a Junior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The Junior Manufacturing Engineer will provide support to our Engineering Team and assist with building service drawings along with other administrative tasks.

PRIMARY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

· Designing and developing manufacturing procedures and plant layout

· Implementing process improvements, troubleshooting equipment and workflow improvement

· Utilizing LEAN and other best practice tools and principles for day-to-day problem solving, continuous improvement and Time & Motion Study

· Assistance with new equipment purchases & energy management as required

· Provide administrative support within the department, as required.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

· Must be skillful with Microsoft Office

· Must have knowledge of AutoCAD

HELPFUL EXPERIENCE

· Working knowledge of furniture industry an asset

· Lean Manufacturing Experience

· Experience working in a team environment (e.g., cooperating with co-workers, joint problem solving, etc.)

WORK SCHEDULE:

Monday to Friday

7:30 AM to 4:15 PM

Salary: $36,000.00 per year
