We have an exciting opportunity for aJunior Electrical Technologist to join our team in either our Saint John, Fredericton or Moncton, NB office. A Junior Electrical Technologist will work with a group of technicians, technologists, and engineering professionals within our Saint John office. The Junior Electrical Technologist will be responsible for assisting with the drawings of electrical distribution systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings projects.


Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and modelling of projects using AutoCAD and Revit;
  • Conduct lighting designs using AGI32 (interior, exterior, commercial, industrial and institutional);
  • Prepare SKM Power Tools models and studies of electrical systems;
  • Prepare layouts of electrical distribution systems for commercial buildings, Utilities as well as substation designs; and
  • Assist with the preparation of reports.

Your Capabilities and Credentials:

  • College diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or in progress;
  • Be a motivated self-starter;
  • Be registered, or the ability to register as a Technologist in NB upon graduation; and
  • Experience in the areas of lighting, low voltage distribution, fire alarm, security, and structured wiring systems would be considered an asset.
