The successful candidate will join an innovative team that supports Westinghouse’s mission to provide clean energy solutions by assisting the architectural and engineering team with the production of various drawing disciplines. Grow towards undertaking small design projects under the supervision of the senior engineers and technologists.What will you do?A Junior Architectural Technologist with Revit experience is required to assist with the preparation of architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical drawings under the supervision of the engineers and CAD/ BIM Lead. Minimum 1-2 years Revit experience is required for this position.Your Day To Day
  • Supervised production of working drawings using Revit. AutoCAD support may also be required.
  • Complete redline markup drawings.
  • Convert 2D AutoCAD details into Revit drafting views.
  • Assist the CAD/ BIM Lead in family/ detail component development.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and/or Architectural team as required.
  • Assist in the supervised preparation of project specifications.
  • Perform site visits and assist with the production of written reports in a supervised environment on behalf of project engineers.
  • Assist with the completion of on- site measurements.
What will you bring?Who You Are
  • Education Level – Minimum Requirement: College Diploma in Architectural Technology or equivalent.
  • Years of Experience: 0-2 years previous full-time work experience, with minimum 1-2 years Revit experience.
Skills And Competencies
  • Proficiency in the following; Revit Architecture/ Structure/ MEP, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office.
  • A good working knowledge of the Ontario Building code is preferred.
  • Rendering skills using enscape and/or Lumion is also an asset.
